While an 800-pound giant bear may be perceived as a monster by some, others view it as a kind, lovable, and empathetic creature, as evidenced by the human caretakers who have raised it. This heartwarming video shows bears as gentle giants.
After losing her parents at a young age, Sonya the bear was lucky to find solace at the Orphan Wildlife Center in Otisville, New York, where she was rescued and cared for.
There, she quickly makes friends with the staff, but there is one person Sonya has an incredible crush on. The bear and her human caretaker, Jonathan, once had a strong relationship.
Unfortunately, for some reason, the rescuer left the center.
Sonya and her favorite friend have not seen each other for many years. But recently, Jonathan decided to visit her to see if she remembered him or not.
The moment they met for the first time after years apart was very touching.
The rescued bear remembers the man who was driving his car and the beautiful game they used to play. They played and hugged like two happy children. What a nice reunion!
“When he was a little cub, Johnathan used to be one of his caretakers,” the adorable videographer said.
“She hasn’t seen him in many, many years, but he visited her recently to see if she would remember him.
Not only did she remember Johnathan, but she also remembered the game they used to play when she was little.”
