The 3m long python hangs on a tree branch and tries to swallow the giant bat.
When the Australian couple discovered, the python had swallowed most of the bat, leaving only the long black wings. But more than 30 minutes later, the python was able to swallow all the prey into its stomach.
The python enjoys its meal in a perched position on the tree.
“We were filming at a distance of only 20cm, but the python was not scared,” said Mille Stoevring. “It was an amazing sight.

Ms. Stoevring said that when it finished swallowing its prey, the python hung its body upright on a tree branch with a swollen middle abdomen. Then it slowly crept into the bushes to rest.
