Described as a flying “fluffy ball of cotton candy,” this elegant, bright raspberry pink bird is as cute as a birdie can be. Meet the pink-browed finch
the rose-browed rose finch (Carpodacus rodochroa), is a finch in the family Fringillidae. The male is a bright raspberry pink with a deep pink belly and maroon crown, along with a “browed” facial pattern and faint streaking on the back.
the female of the species is brown with striped underparts, white eyebrows, and pale cheeks and throat lightly streaked.
The rose-browed finch is distributed throughout the northern regions of the Indian subcontinent, mainly in the Himalayas, and is migratory.

They are found in countries like Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam. This species prefers to live in subtropical and tropical boreal forests and scrublands. Here it likes to feed on seeds, berries and grasses, as well as small herbs.
During the breeding season, a compact nest is built by the female about 2 meters above the ground in bush cover. It is made out of strips of birch-bark, animal hair, and moss.
Due to its large range, this bird is not thought to be under any immediate threat.
